Prayer made in the present petition for directing the respondents to make appointments to the post of Principal in a College cadre in the State of Punjab and to quash the condition of qualification published in the Tribune dated 21.07.2001, might not, due to efflux of time, even be surviving.

In the index of the petition, reliance was placed to the pendency of CWP-6852-1997, wherein the contention raised by the petitioner with regard to the qualification and experience for direct recruitment were not accepted and came to be disposed of on 04.05.2010 by the Division Bench, against which no SLP was filed.
