Mr. Vikas Chopra, DAG, Haryana *** Amol Rattan Singh, J. (Oral) A reply on behalf of the respondent-State has been filed by the learned State counsel in Court today, stating that the petitioners have not joined investigation.

Pursuant to the order dated 16.01.2017, the report of the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Narnaul, dated 06.02.2017, has been received, stating therein that the statements of the complainant, i.e. respondent no.2, Yogesh, as also the accused, i.e. petitioners, Tilak Raj, Kailash, Hanuman @ Sheonarayan, Rekha and Yogesh @ Maduram, were recorded before that Court and as per the assessment of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, the compromise arrived at between the parties is genuine and without any pressure or coercion. Keeping in view the compromise reached and seeing that FIR No.0254 dated 05.09.2016 has been registered for the alleged commission

of offences punishable under Sections 323, 324, 34, 506 IPC, as also Section 3 of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, at Police Station Narnaul, District Mahendergarh, against the petitioners, I see no reason to disallow this petition, in the interest of peace and order.

Consequently, the petition is allowed.

The aforesaid FIR, along with all consequential proceedings therefrom, is hereby quashed.
