(ORAL) This order shall dispose of two petitions i.e. CRM-M-78452020 titled as Iqbal Chand and others vs State of Punjab and another and CRM-M-7706-2019 titled as Satpal Chand and others vs State of Punjab and others as the same are version and cross version. Prayer in CRM-M-7845-2020, is for quashing of FIR No.100 dated 11.06.2019 registered under Sections 452, 447, 336, 324, 323, 506, 427, 379, 148, 149 IPC, 1860 and Section 25 of the Arms Act, 1959 at Police Station City Guruharsahai, District Ferozepur (Annexure P-1) along with all subsequent proceedings arising out of the above said FIR, in terms GURPREET KAUR 2022.12.16 04:52 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment
CRM-M-7845-2020 CRM-M-7706-2020 -2of affidavit dated 25.11.2019, whereas, in CRM-M-7706-2020, prayer is for quashing the DDR No.42 dated 13.06.2019, registered under Sections 307, 324, 323, 148, 149 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 and Section 25 of the Arms Act, at Police Station Guruharsahai, District Ferozepur (Annexure P-2) in case FIR No.100 dated 11.06.2019 registered under Sections 452, 447, 336, 324, 323, 506, 427, 379, 148, 149 IPC, 1860 and Section 25 of the Arms Act, 1959 at Police Station City Guruharsahai, District Ferozepur (Annexure P-1) along with all subsequent proceedings arising out of the above said FIR, in terms of affidavits dated 25.11.2019 and 18.01.2020 (Annexures P-3 and P-4, respectively).
Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the present petitions have has been rendered infructuous being a case of version and cross version in view of the fact that the cancellation report was submitted and the same has been accepted by the Court below on 12.11.2022. The afore-stated fact has not been disputed by learned State counsel.
