**** RAMESHWAR SINGH MALIK J. (ORAL) Petitioners, by way of instant petition, under Section 482 Cr.P.C., seek direction to the official respondents to provide them security for protecting their life and liberty at the hands of private respondents No. 4 to 12.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that when the grievance of the petitioners was not being redressed by the respondent authorities, they finally approached the respondent authorities by way of repeated representations, including self contained representation dated 4.3.2015 (Annexure P-3), but the same are also pending decision. He further submits that the petitioner will be satisfied in case respondent No.5 is directed to consider and decide their representation, within a reasonable time. CRM-M-10303 of 2015 Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, lest it should prejudice the rights of either of the parties, the Inspector General of Police, U.T. Chandigarh-respondent No.5 is directed to look into the matter, consider the grievance of the petitioners, including the threat perception, raised vide their representation dated 4.3.2015 (Annexure P-3) and decide the same, at an early date by passing an appropriate order thereon, strictly in accordance with law, but in any case within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. With the abovesaid observations made and directions issued, present petition stands disposed of.
