Petitioners - Sukhpal Singh, aged 25 years, his father - Chamkaur Singh, aged 53 years and his mother Pramjeet Kaur, aged 48 years, all residents of Patti Meeru Rauli Rauli, Moga, have brought the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C., against respondents - State of Punjab, through its Secretary, Department of Home, Civil Secretariat at Chandigarh; the Senior Superintendent of Police, Moga; the Station House Officer, Police Station Mehna, District Moga; the Station House Officer, Police Station Dharamkot, District Moga; Hardeep Kaur w/o Sukhpal Singh and Pritpal Singh BANITA CHUGH 2021.03.05 14:04 I agree to specified portions of this document

CRM-M-10533 of 2021 -2son of Mehar Singh (father of respondent No.5), both residents of Kawanwal the Dharmkot, District Moga, craving for grant of direction to the official respondents not to use any coercive method against them and a further direction to the other respondents, not to harass them.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioners, besides going through the record and I comes out that basically it is a matrimonial dispute between petitioner No.1 - Sukhpal Singh and his wife - Hardeep Kaur, arrayed as respondent No.5 in the petition. The spouses are in litigation over custody of their minor daughter Nanakjot Kaur, aged about 4 years.

Since the matter is pending in the Court, the petitioners can express their grievances there. Furthermore, if they have got any apprehension with regard to any threat from private respondents No. 5 and 6, they can approach the Senior Superintendent of Police, Moga, in that regard, who may assess the threat perception and then take suitable action in the matter. However, no reason is there to issue any direction to the official respondents or other respondents, as prayed for in the petitioner.

The petition is dismissed accordingly.
