#$ !% Report dated 01.12.2014 of learned Additional Sessions Judge, Jalandhar has been received whereby after recording statements of complainant Sukhwinder Singh @ Sokha and the accused persons consisting of Kulwant Singh @ Bittu and Gurdev Singh, the Court has shown its satisfaction that the compromise Ex.C1 was an outcome of voluntariness, free will of the parties, without any undue influence, coercion or pressure.

  In the light of satisfaction shown by the Court that the compromise so arrived at between the parties is genuine and the offences are not of heinous nature coupled with the fact that compromise will go a long way in resolving the personal dispute and in bringing about amity, peace and harmony, the prayer made in the petition is allowed, proceedings by way of Criminal Complaint No.177/1 of 2007 dated 13.09.2007 registered at Police Station Phillaur, District Jalandhar under Sections 323, 324, 326 and 34 IPC and all consequences arising thereof are quashed. The petition stands allowed in those terms.
