Present writ petition was filed for directing the respondents to release the pension of the petitioner from the date of his discharge from service. Petitioner had completed ten years of service but had not completed 20 years thereof.

As per judgment rendered by the Hon'ble Apex Court in Union of India v. Rakesh Kumar and Others Appeal (Civil) No. 6166 of 1999, decided on 30.03.2001), present petitioner is not entitled to receive pension and as such present petition stands dismissed. (Shekher Dhawan) Judge July 31, 2018 "DK"
