This is a petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for quashing of FIR No.140 dated 23.09.2013 under Sections 406, 498-A of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 registered at Police Station Kartarpur, District Jalandhar, on merits. 2.

Learned counsel for the State submits that the present petition has since been rendered infructuous as the petitioner stands convicted vide judgment dated 12.08.2022 passed by the learned Trial Court. As per the Ecourts website of District Court, Jalandhar also, the petitioner stands convicted vide judgment dated 12.08.2022 passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Jalandhar.

Dismissed as having become infructuous. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed off.
