(Oral) The petition has been filed, inter alia, seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondent Department to step-up the petitioner's pay at par with that of his junior/third respondent.

At the outset, learned State counsel contends that the petitioner's representation dated 09.08.2019, Annexure P-6, seeking the aforesaid relief is pending with the second respondent/Director Elementary Education, and will be decided by passing a speaking/reasoned order in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks.

In view of the statement made, learned counsel for the petitioner has no objection to the petition being disposed of in terms thereof. 4.
