Present writ petition has been filed by the workman - Hawa Singh, challenging the award dated 15.07.1996 (Annexure P-10) passed by learned Industrial Tribunal-cum-Labour Court, Hisar, whereby reference No.280/1992 under Section 10(1) (c) of the Industrial Disputes Act, has been answered against him by holding that the workman could not prove the 240 days of service during the period from October, 1990 to July 1991, and thus, held that the termination of the services of the workman (petitioner herein) is justified.

Present writ petition is pending since the year 1997. 3.

There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner, despite having been informed by the Registry.

Accordingly, present writ petition stands dismissed for nonprosecution. 6.

However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to move an appropriate application for seeking revival of the present writ petition, within eight weeks from today, in case, any substantive issue still exists along with a cause of action to the petitioner. 7.
