(Oral) Petitioner, who is serving as a Peon in the Department of Municipal Corporation, Pathankot, seeks extension in terms of instructions dated 22.05.2017 issued by Punjab Government. He submits that he has also filed a representation, Annexur P-3, in this regard, but no decision has been taken thereon.

Present writ petition is disposed of with the observation that, in case, representation, Annexure P-3, has been received in the concerned department, decision thereon shall be taken at the earliest, in any case, not later than six weeks.
