(ORAL) This petition has been filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.254 dated 20.11.2018 registered under Sections 419, 420, 465, 467, 468, 471 and 120-B IPC at Police Station Sadar Ferozepur, District Ferozepur. As per the allegations, the complainant had sold the land and was interested in buying some other land. The petitioner along with one Balkar Singh approached them and told them that there was 8 acres of land belonging to Karnail Singh.

After arguing for some time, counsel for the petitioner prays that he would not press the present petition and states that the petitioner would surrender and move an application for regular bail before the court below and a direction be issued to the court to decide his bail application ANJU 2019.03.29 13:33 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document phhc expeditiously. In the circumstances, this petition is dismissed. It is directed that in case the petitioner surrenders before the competent court on or before 02.04.2019 and move an application for regular bail, it shall be decided expeditiously on merits but in any case on or before 05.04.2019.
