(ORAL) The present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed by the petitioner for quashing of FIR No.21 dated 13.2.2018 (Annexure P1), under Sections 420 and 120-B of the Indian Penal Code (for short 'the IPC') registered at Police Station Goindwal, District Tarn Taran, as well as all the consequential proceedings arising therefrom. In response to the notice of motion issued by this Court, a short reply by way of affidavit of Sh.Ravinderpal Singh, PPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub Division Goindwal Sahib, District Tarn RAJ KUMAR ARORA 2019.05.14 16:44 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

A perusal of para 5 of the affidavit reveals that after investigation in the matter, the petitioner was found innocent and the report has been approved by the Inspector General of Police, Border Range, Amritsar.
In view of above, no further directions are required to be issued in the present case.
The petition is disposed off accordingly. However, in case the petitioner feels aggrieved, he would be at liberty to approach this Court again.
