 Prayer in the present petition is for issuance of direction to the official respondents for proper and fair investigation in representation (Annexure P-1) sent to respondent No.2 without the pressure of private respondents No. 6 to 10 for taking appropriate action in accordance with law.

In compliance of last order dated 20.02.2024, learned counsel for the State has filed status report dated 03.07.2024 by way of an affidavit of the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub-Division Mansa, District Mansa on behalf of respondents No. 1 to 5. A copy thereof has been handed over to learned counsel for the petitioner Learned counsel for the State draws the attention of this Court to the averments made in para 3(iv) of the said status report which reads as under:- "During the inquiry proceedings, inquiry officer had called DIVYANSHI 2024.07.16 10:42 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CRM-M-9084-2024 -2 - both the parties to the inquiry proceedings and afforded both of them opportunity of being heard. From the inquiry proceedings, it was found that marriage of the petitioner was solemnized on 06.12.2021, as per Hindu rites and rituals, however, after some time relations between the petitioner and her in-laws had become sour, as such, petitioner after quarreling with her in-laws went to her parent's house, started residing there and filed application against her in-laws. During the inquiry proceedings, it was ascertained that petitioner does not want to go to her matrimonial house but husband of the petitioner namely Harish Goel wants to rehabilitate the petitioner but petitioner is adamant not to go her in-laws house. However, allegations leveled by the petitioner regarding demand of Rs.

10,00,000/- by her in-laws, does not stand proved. Now petitioner has filed a case before the Hon'ble Court, as such, as the matter is under consideration before this Hon'ble Court, no police action is required at this stage. Hence recommendation is made by the inquiry officer for consigning the application moved by the petitioner. Upon which, consenting with the recommendations of the inquiry officer, above mentioned application has been filed vide the orders of SSP Mansa." In view of the above, no further direction is required to be issued in the matter.

The present petition stands disposed of.
