Present petition is for issuance of a direction to the State to provide protection to the petitioner, who is a handicapped person as he is apprehending danger at the hands of respondents No.4 & 5. Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that petitioner had moved a complaint (Annexure P1) before respondent No.2-Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana, which was received in his office on 6.3.2017 and still no action has been taken by the police authorities. Having considered the submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioner, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2-Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana to look into the complaint (Annexure P1) and take suitable remedial measures, if so required.
