Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that application having dispatch No. 17714-17, dated 17.12.2025 for seeking furlough/leave before the authorities concerned has been filed by the petitioner but the same is still pending consideration with the authorities concerned and the petitioner will be satisfied, at this stage, in case a direction is issued to the authorities concerned to decide the same in a time bound manner so that the petitioner does not suffer any prejudice.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent-State submits that in case, any application having dispatch No. 17714-17, dated 17.12.2025 seeking furlough/leave has been received in the office of the concerned authorities and the same are still pending consideration with the authorities concerned, the same will be decided by the authorities concerned within a period of four weeks of the receipt of certified copy of this order by passing an appropriate speaking order in accordance with law.
