(Oral) The present petition has been filed by the petitioner under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to grant the petitioner appropriate scales from the date to which the petitioner is entitled and further to fix the pay of petitioner correctly in view of Punjab Government's Instructions. Written statement on behalf of the respondent No.2 has been filed in the Court which is taken on record.

Since there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner on the last date of hearing i.e. 01.07.2024, notice was ordered to be issued to the petitioner and also to Sh. Rohit Mahajan, Advocate, learned counsel for the petitioner.

As per office report, Sh. Rohit Mahajan, Advocate, has been duly informed through e-mail and notice issued to the petitioner has been received back unserved with the report that she is living abroad. In this view of the matter, the present petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. However, liberty is granted to revive the same in case any cause still survives.
