The alleged detenues, whose names have been mentioned in para no.3 of the petition and who are working in a Brick Kiln Batha Marka JAI, situated in the area of Village Vhniwal, Police Station Ajitwal, District Moga (Punjab), are stated to have been illegally and forcibly detained by private respondent Nos.4 to 6. Learned counsel would further contend that the petitioner has made a complaint/representation dated 28.02.2022 (Annexure P-2) to the District Magistrate Moga (Punjab) in this regard. The District Magistrate of the District is the competent authority as per Chapter-IV of the Bonded Labour System (Abolition) Act, 1976 to deal with such like matters. The petitioner, therefore, is relegated to avail the remedy before the District Magistrate, Moga (Punjab) who is directed to decide the above complaint/representation of the petitioner forthwith.

In view of the above, the present petition stands disposed off accordingly.
