On 21.02.2019 following order was passed by this Court:- "Learned counsel submits that pursuant to advertisement dated 16.04.2018 (P-1), the petitioner applied for the post of Male Constable (GD) under General category. The petitioner cleared the written examination and was called for Physical Screening Test and scrutiny of documents. The petitioner qualified the Physical Screening Test (P-4) but the petitioner was declared not qualified in Physical Measurement Test with regard to chest measurement, as per order dated 13.02.2019 (P-5).

Learned counsel submits that un-expanded chest of the petitioner was/is 85 CM approximately and the standard prescribed for Physical Measurement Test in respondent of chest is 83 CM un-expanded minimum with expansion of 04 cm (minimum) onward.

On asking of the Court, Ms. Palika Monga, DAG Haryana accepts notice on behalf of the State. Learned counsel for the petitioner shall supply copy of the petition to learned State counsel by today itself.

Learned State counsel submits that there was grievance committee for Physical Measurement Test and further the petitioner has signed the undertaking as per impugned order dated 13.02.2019 (P-5) that the measurement was recorded in his presence and he is satisfied with the measurement taken and accept the result. Learned State counsel shall file an affidavit on the next date of hearing giving details of the procedure for conducting of Physical Measurement Test."

The selection process commenced in 2018 and completed in 2019. Period of almost 6 years has passed away. This Court at this stage cannot direct respondent to remeasure chest of the petitioner. 3.

In the wake of above factual position, this Court is of the considered opinion that the instant petition deserves to be dismissed and accordingly dismissed.
