By this petition, filed under the provisions of Section 482/483 Cr.P.C., the petitioner is seeking a direction to the learned Special Judge (CBI), Panchkula, to defer the proceedings of Case No. PC/10/2018, arising out of FIR/RC No. 13, dated 03.06.2004, registered at Police Station CBI, ACB Chandigarh, under Sections 7/13(2)/13(1)(D) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988, for six weeks, so as to enable him to effectively defend himself.

At the outset, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner does not press this petition and he may be allowed to withdraw this petition.

Without even notice of motion having been issued, Mr. Sumeet Goel, Advocate, has appeared for the respondent-CBI and submits that, in fact, costs should be imposed upon the petitioner. However, since PRASHANT KAPOOR 2021.03.08 11:28 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
