Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner and while refraining from making any expression as regards veracity of the averments/allegations made in the petition, the same is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2-Superintendent of Police, Amritsar to ensure that the matter pertaining to FIR No.166 dated 17.10.2019 under Sections 307, 148, 149 IPC and Sections 25 & 27 of Arms Act registered at Police Station Cantonment, District Amritsar is got investigated expeditiously in accordance with law so that a final report is submitted thereafter at the earliest. Further, since the petitioner apprehends threat to his life and liberty, the said threat perception shall also be looked into by the respondent No.2 and in case, it is found that there is imminent threat to life and liberty of the petitioner, then requisite steps as warranted under GAURAV SOROT 2020.02.20 15:33 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
