DEEPAK GUPTA , J.(Oral) Petitioner is praying for grant of regular bail in case FIR No.231, dated 14.10.2022, registered at Police Station Moti Nagar, District Ludhiana, under Sections 399 and 402 of IPC. Allegations are that petitioner and other co-accused had formed a gang and they are habitual of committing theft and robbery. As per custody certificate placed on record by learned State counsel, petitioner is in custody for the last 4 months and 16 days, with no criminal antecedent.
Having regard to the aforesaid factual position and the fact that investigation and trial may take time to conclude, but without commenting anything on the merits of the case, the petitioner is admitted to regular bail and he is ordered to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds and surety bonds to the satisfaction of learned Trial Court concerned.
Allowed.
