(Oral) Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in the instant case, respondents No.4 and 5 in connivance with revenue officials had forged the revenue record and had got entries effected in the revenue record in their favour. It has been submitted that the matter had been got inquired into by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Sri Muktsar Sahib, who had found the irregularities and in his detailed report dated 31.5.2019 (Annexure P-4) has given the following findings:

"The process from entering of both these mutations till its approval the entire proceedings have been conducted in such a hot haste manner within less than one week, from which it appears that Patwari, Kanugo, Assistant Collector Ist Grade (Naib Tehsildar) Sri Muktsar Sahib and Sub Divisional Magistrate-cumA.C. Ist Grade Shri Muktsar Sahib vide conducting the MOHAN SINGH 2021.03.09 16:22 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

It has been submitted that although the aforesaid report was forwarded to Deputy Commissioner, Sri Muktsar Sahib, for necessary action, but no action has been taken thereupon despite the fact that a period of 8 months has elapsed thereafter.

Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and without commenting anything as regards merits of the case, the petition is disposed of with a direction to Deputy Commissioner, Sri Muktsar Sahib to look into the matter and to examine the report dated 31.5.2019 (Annexure P-4) and to take all appropriate action as warranted under the facts and circumstances of the case. In case it is found that the facts also disclose commission of some criminal offence, then needful be also done in this regard. A copy of this order along with copy of report dated 31.5.2019 (Annexure P-4) be sent to Deputy Commissioner, Sri Muktsar Sahib, for necessary compliance.
