(ORAL) Petition herein, inter alia, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari to quash order dated 07.01.2000 (Annexure P-14) whereby he was reverted to the post of Constable and order dated 09.05.2001 (Annexure P-16) vide which punishment order of reduction in rank was modified to that of stoppage of four future increments with permanent effect. 2.
Petition was admitted for hearing in the year 2001. 3.
When taken up, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. 4.
Learned State counsel submits that per his instructions petitioner died during service on 10.10.2003 and no steps have been taken by his Legal Representatives to implead themselves as party or further prosecute the cause of action, if any.

The writ petition is disposed of as infructuous, as per statement made by learned State counsel.
