  *Learned Senior counsel for the petitioners, at the outset, submits that case of the petitioners is covered by judgment of this Court in Ram Lal vs. Bhakra Beas Management Board and others, CWP No. 23311 of 2017 decided on 21.07.2023.

Learned counsel for respondent-Board concedes that petitioners are working with respondent-Board since 1986, however, there was break in their service and they were continued on account of stay granted by this Court.

Without commenting upon merits of the case, however, considering the policy dated 11.05.2012 framed by respondent-Board and judgment of this Court in Ram Lal (Supra), the respondent-Board is directed to consider case of the petitioners in terms of its policy of 2012. The respondent-Board is further directed to consider the fact that petitioners are working with the Asgar Ali 2023.12.22 15:29 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

 


 Board since 1986 even though after every 3-4 years a break has been created in their service and they have not worked anywhere else except with the Board. The needful be done before the next date of hearing. Adjourned to 10.10.2023.
