The petitioners through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India are seeking setting aside of order dated 07.08.2001 passed by Deputy Inspector General of Police, Ferozepur Range, Ferozepur Cantt. whereby order of their confirmation was set aside. 2.

Ms. Alka Chatrath, Advocate submits that she has no contact with her client.

Mr. Pawan Kumar, DAG, Punjab, submits that most of the petitioners have retired as Inspectors and others have also retired. 4.
