(Oral) Pursuant to advertisement dated 15.07.1997, petitioner along with other candidates applied for the post of Lecturer in Arts and Craft with Specialisation of Sculpture/Applied Arts. The interviews were held for the said post and respondent No. 3 was appointed to the Lecturer in Arts and Craft.
The grievance of the petitioner before this Court since respondent No. 3 was not having Specialisation of Sculpture/Applied Arts, he could not have been appointed.

C.W.P No. 19046 of 1997 This fact is also admitted by the respondents in the written statement that the respondent No. 3 was not having Specialisation of Sculpture/Applied Arts but the Principal has called for interview every candidate for fair selection.
Since the respondent No. 3 was selected way back on 05.11.1997 and almost 19 years have gone by, this Court at this stage does not want to quash the selection of respondent No. 3, who was selected way back.
In view of the above factual position, the writ petition is dismissed.
