The petitioner has approached this Court seeking grant of anticipatory bail in respect of a case registered against him vide FIR No.232 dated 27.12.2011 at Police Station Phase-1, District SAS Nagar, under Sections 406/420/120-B IPC and Section 24 of Immigration Act, wherein the allegations are broadly to the effect that the petitioner had cheated the complainant of an amount of Rs.1,20,000/- on the pretext of sending the complainant abroad.

Learned State counsel upon instructions has informed that the petitioner was earlier declared a proclaimed offender in this case and presently stands arrested.

In view of the aforestated position, apart from the fact that the petition has been rendered infructuous, the petitioner even otherwise being a VANDANA YADAV 2021.09.24 10:20 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
