Tribhuvan Dahiya, J. (Oral) The petition has been filed, inter alia, seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to grant the benefit of Haryana Contractual Employees (Security of Service) Act, 2024 to the petitioners. 2.

Learned Senior counsel for the petitioners submits that at this stage, the petitioners will be satisfied in case they are permitted to make a fresh representation before the respondents raising the grievance as has been raised in this petition, and the same may be ordered to be decided within a specified period.

Mr. Rohit Arya, DAG, Haryana, accepts notice and submits that in case any such representation is filed by the petitioners, the same will be decided by respondent no.2 expeditiously.

In view thereof, without going into the merits of the case, the petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioners to file a representation before the respondents within a period of two weeks from today. In case any such representation is filed by the petitioners, the same shall be decided by respondent no.2- Director General, Higher Education, by passing a speaking order thereupon in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks of receiving the representation.
