The respondents No.1 to 10 have filed their reply and it has been stated that the controversy, raised in the present petition, which was pending before this Court for adjudication, has been resolved by the competent authorities and all the eligible petitioners were granted selection grade under the concerned Rules. It is further stated that the seniority of the petitioners had been fixed from the date they became eligible for the post of JBT Teachers in the Punjab Educational Service (Class III) School Cadre Rules, 1955. The principle of continuous length of service on the post in that cadre of service was followed for preparing seniority.
