(Oral) The petitioners have filed this petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for issuance of direction to official respondents No. 2 and 3 to protect their life and liberty from the hands of private respondents No.4 and 5. Petitioners are stated to be major and have solemnized marriage on 02.01.2018 (Annexure P-3) which is against the wishes of their parents. Factum of marriage has been pleaded with reference to photographs (Annexure P-4). Petitioners have an apprehension at the hands of private respondents No.4 and 5 and in this regard, they have submitted a representation dated 02.01.2018 (Annexure P-5) to respondent the Senior Superintendent of Police, Gurdaspur but no action has been taken so far.
