Present petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying for quashing of FIR No.462 dated 02.05.2018, under Sections 120-B, 406 & 420 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, registered at Police Station Sadar Karnal, District Karnal, and other consequential proceedings arising therefrom on the basis of compromise dated 16.01.2020 (P-2) 2.

At the outset, learned State counsel, on instructions, has apprised the Court that despite availing sufficient opportunities, parties did not get their statements recorded in terms of order dated 20.02.2020.

Case called twice, but there is no representation on behalf of petitioners.
