The petitioner who was working as a Lecturer in the College of Engineering & Technology, Bhatinda had questioned the annual appraisal report given to him in the year 1993-94. He had also raised a grievance that the increments due to him have not been given to him. Allegations of mala fide were levelled against two of the incumbents serving in the institution namely Shri D.S.Hira, Principal and Shri H.S.Randhawa, Assistant Professor. C.W.P. No.4320 of 1995 -2There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. Learned counsel for the State has placed on record a communication dated 4.10.2013 wherein it has been sated that Shri D.S.Hira, Principal (respondent No.1) stands relieved from the institution after the expiry of his tenure on 5.4.1998, while Shri H.S.Randhawa (respondent No.3) has since superannuated on 28.2.2010. The petitioner himself stood absorbed in the Government service and was relieved from the institution on 4.3.1999. In view of the above, I am of the opinion that the petition has been rendered infructuous and is disposed of as such.
