-.- JAISHREE THAKUR J. (ORAL) The instant petition has been filed seeking direction to respondents No.2 to 4 to take action against the culprit in case FIR No.4 dated 23.01.2016 under Section 306 IPC registered at Police Station Khuian Sarvar, District Fazilka.

Pursuant to notice issued to the respondents, status report by way of affidavit of Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub Division Abohar, District Fazilka has been filed in which it is stated that the matter was investigated and it was found that the deceased had committed suicide without any instigation. In this regard, a final report was filed, which has been accepted by the court of JMIC, Abohar on 22.01.2019.

As no one has put in appearance on behalf of the petitioner, as was the situation on the last date of hearing, therefore, finding that the cancellation has already been accepted, no further orders are called for in the instant petition. Consequently, the instant petition is dismissed as having been rendered infructuous, leaving it open to the petitioner to avail any other remedy available to him in accordance with law.
