Prayer made in the present petition is for directing the respondents to reimburse the medical bills incurred on the treatment of the petitioner and release the revised gratuity of Rs.56127/- and Rs.6815/- as per letters dated 11.09.2012 and 12.04.2013 alongwith interest. 2.

Reference is made to para 2 of the reply dated 15.04.2024 of District Education Officer, Fazilka, wherein it was stated that payment of medical bills has already been made, which is as per Annexure R-1 amounting to Rs.37591/- in place of Rs.82576/- incurred by the petitioner as also the claim for revised gratuity has been sent to the Accountant General on 04.01.2022, however the same has not been released till date. 3.

Learned State counsel, on instructions, states that the gratuity shall be released within a period of 6 weeks alongwith the statutory interest and with regard to the balance amount, the details thereof shall be communicated in the aforesaid period to the petitioner with reasons of partial release, which satisfies the learned counsel for the petitioner, who states that if required he would represent qua that by way of a representation. 4.

Ordered accordingly. In case any representation is submitted in 4 weeks of receipt of the order, the same be decided expeditiously, in accordance with law.
