(Oral) On 22.02.2024, the following order was passed :- "The prayer in the present petition under Section 482 Cr.PC is for setting aside the order dated 14.08.2023 (Annexure P-5) passed by the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jalandhar vide which the petitioners were declared as proclaimed persons in case FIR No.98 dated 27.04.2020 under Section 188 IPC and Section 3 of the Epidemic Diseases Act, 1897, registered at Police Station Division No.6, Jalandhar. The learned counsel for the petitioners contends that the under the erroneous exemption available, as a fine had been imposed upon the petitioners, payment of which they had made to their counsel, the proceedings were to be dropped, the petitioners did not appear before the concerned Court because of which the SATISH KUMAR 2024.04.28 11:41 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document High Court Chandigarh
impugned order came to be passed. He states that the petitioners are ready and willing to join the proceedings once again.
Notice of motion for 26.04.2024.
In the meanwhile, the petitioners are directed to surrender before the Trial Court within a period of one week from today and subject to a deposit of Rs.50,000/- as costs with the Sadhna Society for the Mentally Handicapped, Near Housing Board Chowk, Raen Basera Building Manimajra, Sector 13, Chandigarh, they shall be admitted to interim bail to the satisfaction of the Trial Court.
A copy of the receipt depositing a sum of Rs.50,000/- each with the aforesaid Society as well as a copy of the order granting interim bail to the petitioners be produced in the Court on the next date of hearing."

! ! n deference to the aforementioned order, the petitioners have surrendered and have since been admitted to bail vide order dated 27.02.2024 passed by the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jalandhar, which is taken on record as (Mark 'A') In view of the above, no further orders are required to be passed by this Court.
