Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that the Investigating Officer is not investigating the matter as per law and pressurizing the petitioner to enter into a compromise, though he is not willing to do so. To that effect, a representation dated 25.1.2017 (Annexure P2) was made before respondent No.3-Commissioner of Police, Jalandhar, which still remains undecided.

Having considered the submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioner, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3-Commissioner of Police, Jalandhar to look into the representation dated 25.1.2017 (Annexure P2) and decide the same as per law, preferably within fortnight.
