On 24.02.2023, the following order was passed:- "The petitioner, on attaining the age of superannuation, is likely to demit the office on 30.11.2023. On 24.07.2019, he was transferred to Devigarh Canal Division, IB Patiala. On 30.07.2021, he was transferred from Patiala to Rajasthan Feeder Canal Division, Ferozepur. The petitioner joined at Ferozepur. Thereafter, the petitioner was transferred to Lehal Canal Division, IB Patiala on 15.12.2022. The petitioner complied with the same. However, on 17.02.2023, an order has been passed cancelling the order dated 15.12.2022. Resultantly, the petitioner will have to go back to Ferozepur. Taking note of these facts, the learned State counsel was directed to take DEEPAK KUMAR BHARDWAJ 2023.03.09 13:54 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document instructions.

Civil Writ Petition No. 3652 of 2023 Mr. Gurpreet Singh, Additional Advocate General, Punjab, submits that process to withdraw the order dated 17.02.2023 has been started and shall be finalized within a period of one week from today, positively.

Keeping in view the aforesaid facts, the case is adjourned to 02.03.2023. To be listed in the urgent list. If no decision is taken by that time, the Principal Secretary, Department of Water Resources, Punjab, shall be required to be present in the Court to assist this Court."

The learned State counsel, on the instructions from Mr.Tarandeep Singh, Law Officer, Department of Irrigation, Punjab, submits that the order dated 17.02.2023 has been withdrawn. 3.

In view of the above, the writ petition is rendered infructuous and the same be disposed of as such.
