******* SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) The present petition has been filed under Section 438 Code of Criminal Procedure for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No. 30 dated 07.03.2011 registered for offences punishable under Sections 365, 342, 447, 448, 452, 323, 511, 148 and 149 of Indian Penal Code (for short 'IPC') and 25/27 of the Arms Act, at Police Station Chamkaur Sahib, District Rupnagar.

Heard.

Learned State counsel submits that petitioner was earlier arrested in this case and was released on bail. Thereafter, he absented despite having notice of pendency of the case and was declared a proclaimed offender on 02.01.2014.

In view of above facts, the instant application seeking anticipatory bail is declined.
