This petition has been filed for quashing of order dated 02.08.2021 passed by Ld. Additional Sessions Judge, District Gurdaspur in case bearing No.NDPS/174/2021 arise out of FIR No.127 dated 20.12.2020 registered under Section 22 of NDPS Act (Sections 22(C), 27 and 29 of NDPS Act added later on) at Police Station Fatehgarh Churian, District Batala.

After arguing for some time, learned counsel on instructions submits that the petitioner is ready to surrender before the trial Court and prays that his bail application be directed to be decided within a time bound manner.

In view of the prayer made, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, present petition is disposed of with a direction to the learned trial Court that in case the petitioner surrenders on or before 04.08.2023 and files an application for grant of bail, the same be decided expeditiously in accordance with law.
