The prayer made in the present petition is for directing the respondents to promote the petitioner to the post of Block Primary Education Officer from the date of vacancy of promotional quota in his category of Physically Handicapped became available on retirement of One Sukhbir Kaur on 31.08.2023, who was his immediate senior.

Learned counsel submits that regarding the claim as raised in the present petition, a reminder/representation dated 04.12.2024, Annexure P-9, has been submitted, however, the same has yet not evoked any response. He thus, on instructions prays that a direction may be given to the respondents to decide the same in a time bound manner, to which learned State counsel has no objection to the limited prayer made.

In view of the above and without commenting on the merits of the case, this petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to the respondents to MOHIT 2025.02.14 14:04 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
