Mr. Dushyant Rana, Advocate, for respondent No.2. ***** SUDHIR MITTAL, J. (ORAL) The present petition has been filed for quashing of FIR No.61, dated 12.05.2017, registered at Police Station Jaito, Faridkot, under Sections 323, 324 & 34 IPC (Annexure P-1) on the basis of compromise (Annexure P-2).

Pursuant to order dated 14.03.2023, report dated 26.04.2023 has been received from Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Jaitu, according to which, the statements of the parties have been recorded and the compromise is genuine and has been arrived at between them without any threat, undue influence or coercion.

In view of the above, the petition is allowed and FIR No.61, dated 12.05.2017, registered at Police Station Jaito, Faridkot, under Sections 323, 324 & 34 IPC (Annexure P-1) along with all consequential proceedings having arisen therefrom, is quashed qua the petitioners.
