SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) This petition is for seeking protection of life and liberty of petitioners, who alleged to have married against the wishes of respondents No. 4 and 5, parents of petitioner No. 1.

Learned counsel for the petitioners has limited his prayer for taking appropriate action in accordance with law on the representation dated 27.03.2017 (Annexure P-5) submitted by petitioner No. 1 to Superintendent of Police, Patiala. It has been stated that both the petitioners are major. The year of birth of petitioner No.1- Shinki is 1996 as per copy of Aadhaar Card (Annexure P-1) and date of birth of petitioner No.2- Mandeep is 09.05.1991 as per copy of Voter Identity Card (Annexure P-2). They got married on 27.03.2017. Photographs of marriage are Annexure P-4. In view of the submission of learned counsel for the petitioners, but without expressing any opinion on the validity of marriage of petitioners, petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No. 2 Senior Superintendent of Police, Patiala to look into the representation dated Jyoti 2017.03.30 17:32 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
