(ORAL) Vide order dated 06.02.1992, this appeal was directed to be heard alongwith LPA No. 75 of 1992 (State of Punjab and others v. M/s Milkhi Ram Oil and Dal Mills), since the questions for adjudication involved were identical. Vide judgment and order dated 21.08.1997, the Division Bench has allowed the appeals filed by the State of Punjab and consequently the writ petitions were dismissed in view of the Division Bench judgment rendered in LPA No. 75 of 1992 and other connected matters.

The appeal at hands is also liable to be disposed of in the same terms, as judgment and order dated 21.08.1997, passed by the Division Bench in LPA No. 75 of 1992 and other connected matters. Ordered accordingly.
