The present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuing directions to respondents No.1 to 4 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner from respondents No.5 & 6, as the petitioner is being unnecessarily harassed by respondent No.6 on the basis of false and frivolous applications given by respondent No.5. 2.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner inter alia contends that respondent No.5 has already approached the concerned Illaqa Magistrate by filing application under Section 156 (3) Cr.P.C., which is discernible from the order dated 22.11.2023 passed by this Court in CRWP No.10985 of 2023. As such, the local police have no jurisdiction to entertain or inquire into the same set of allegations time and again.

Mr. Sandeep Kumar, DAG, Punjab, who is present in Court, on instructions from ASI Sukhchain Singh submits that allegations made by respondent No.5 in her application have been examined and the same is ordered PANKAJ KUMAR 2024.02.27 13:59 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document
