PANKAJ JAIN, J. (ORAL) The present petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking quashing of FIR.

Status report dated 6th of December, 2021 filed by the State reveals that the parties have amicably settled their dispute. The relevant part thereof reads as under :

"6. That during investigation complainant/ respondent no.2 Jiwan Das himself appeared before the then IO Palwinder Pal Singh on 07.02.2021 and got recorded his statement that the matter between both the parties has been amicably settled by the intervention of close relatives and respectable from the society and as both the parties are relatives, therefore he does not want to continue with the present case and want to cancel/quash the present FIR."

On 19th of May, 2022, keeping in view the status report following order was passed :- DEEPAK KUMAR 2022.10.29 11:07 I attest to the accuracy of this document

CRM-M-11174-2021 -2- "Learned counsel for the State relying upon pleadings in the status report, submits that complainant had made a statement during investigation that the parties have compromised the matter.

List on 28th October, 2022."

Today again the petitioners remain unrepresented. In view of the status report and the fact that the parties are stated to have reconciled their differences, nothing remains to be adjudicated at the hands of this Court.

Consequently, the present petition is disposed off as having been rendered infructuous.
