Learned counsel for the petitioner has confined his submission only for direction to Senior Superintendent of Police, Jalandhar (Rural) to look into the representation (Annexure P-2). It is submitted that on the complaint by petitioner, FIR No. 218 dated 14.10.2016 was registered at Police Station Shahkot, District Jalandhar but no progress has been made in the investigation so far. In view of submission of learned counsel for the petitioner, this petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.2- Senior Superintendent of Police, Jalandhar (Rural) to look into the representation made by petitioner Annexure P-2 and take appropriate action in accordance with law.
