**** RAMESHWAR SINGH MALIK J. (ORAL) Petitioner seeks bail pending trial in FIR No. 25 dated 12.2.2015 under Sections 420/465/467/468/471/120-B/511 IPC, registered at Police Station Civil Lines, Bathinda. Notice to the Advocate General, Punjab.

On the asking of the Court, Mr. K.D.Sachdeva, Additional A.G. Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the State. Learned counsel for the petitioner places reliance on order dated 31.3.2015 passed by this Court in CRM-M-9471 of 2015 (Jagtar Singh Vs. State of Punjab), whereby co-accused of the petitioner was granted the concession of bail pending trial by this Court. He further submits that since the present petitioner is identically placed with Jagtar Singh, he is entitled for the concession of bail pending trial. He prays for allowing the present petition. CRM-M-11197 of 2015 On the other hand, learned counsel for the State, on instructions from SI Jarnail Singh, Police Station, Civil Lines, Bathinda, fairly states that case of the petitioner cannot be distinguished from the case of Jagtar Singh (supra). Having heard the learned counsel for the parties and after careful perusal of the record of the case, particularly abovesaid order dated 31.3.2015, this Court is of the considered opinion that since the petitioner is identically placed with his co-accused Jagtar Singh, present petition is allowed. Petitioner is directed to be released on bail pending trial on his furnishing adequate bail bonds/surety bonds to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate/Duty Magistrate, Bathinda.

Disposed of, accordingly.
