This petition has been filed under Sections 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for quashing of FIR No.242 dated 29.10.2014 under Sections 323,324,326,427,506 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code registered at Police Station Samrala, District Khanna, along with all the consequential proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise. 2.

In terms of the order passed by this Court on 14.1.2015, Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Samrala, recorded the statements of complainant Shani Sahota and injured persons Rohit Sahota and Fateh Singh. They stated that compromise has been effected between the parties. Statements of the accused persons were also recorded. The case is at the investigation stage. The Magistrate recorded the compromise and an opinion that it appeared to be genuine.

Counsel for the parties have stated at bar that the matter has been compromised.

So, in view of the above circumstances and in view of authority reported as Kulwinder Singh and others Vs. State of Punjab and others 2007 (3) RCR (Criminal) 1052, the above said FIR stands quashed. Further proceedings in pursuant to that FIR also stand quashed.
