**** RAMESHWAR SINGH MALIK J. (ORAL) Petitioner, by way of instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C., has approached this Court seeking direction to the official respondents to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner alongwith his family members at the hands of private respondents. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that before approaching this Court, petitioner has not approached the competent authority, i.e. the Superintendent of Police, Kurukshetra. He further submits that given an opportunity, petitioner shall approach the Superintendent of Police, Kurukshetra-respondent No.2 by moving an appropriate representation within a period of two weeks from today and he may be directed to consider and decide the same, within a reasonable time.

CRM-M-11283 of 2015 Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, lest it should prejudice the rights of either of the parties, the Superintendent of Police, Kurukshetra-respondent No.2 is directed that if the petitioner approaches him by moving an appropriate representation within a period of two weeks from today, he shall consider and decide the same at an early date by passing an appropriate order thereon, strictly in accordance with law, but in any case within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of representation from the petitioner.
